Our Pastor, Tom C. Davis

Wilmington is my hometown. I've returned there after nearly 25 years of campus ministry and urban ministry to pastor "Hanover" an interracial, socially active church in the downtown area, just north of the Brandywine River.

Before coming to Hanover church I was a seminary professor at the South Florida Center for Theological Studies; also pastor of a small, very culturally diverse church in North Miami Beach, Florida; and marriage and family therapist for the Counseling Ministry of South Florida. My first call was to campus ministry at Duke University. I felt a call to the ministry while serving as a military advisor to the South Vietnamese navy in 1970, and have since enjoyed the fellowship of the National Conference of Vietnam Veteran Ministers. I am also a Pastoral Care Specialist with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. If you share my interest in multicultural ministry, I invite you to contact me by sending an e-mail to: "pastor" at "hanoverchurch" "dot" "org" (do not include any of the quote marks or spaces).
