K’nittee

Do you knit or crochet?

We have a knitting/crochet circle at Hanover called The K’nittee. There are several different ministries one can do with yarn. Some knitters make bandages for people who suffer from leprosy with the D.O.V.E. Fund Bandage Brigade. Others participate in making rainbow scarves to support the LGBT community through More Light Presbyterians. Still more make prayer shawls and baby blankets for members of the Hanover family. There is even an organization that makes sweaters for penguins that have been victims of oil spills!

If you are a knitter or crocheter of any skill level, we would love to have you join us weekly for a time of fellowship and to do our handiwork. We meet on Mondays from 6-8pm. Though this is not a class, those of us who are experienced are happy to try to help newcomers. We have lots of yarn, needles, hooks, and books available. If you are interested in joining us or have any questions, contact our church administrator, Matthia McCracken at churchadmin@kv2.1d4.myftpupload.com
